If they both lose, is it game over for the BDF?

OU is widely regarded as the best team in the Conference. If they have 2 loses going into conference, and sweep the conference... no Playoffs.

A REALLY tough schedule for the BDF.

Pitt (2-0) at Okie Lite (1-1)
Kansas (1-1) at Memphis (1-0)

BXII needs to go at least .500 today.

Looks like "The Amazing Malik" isn't having much of an impact. Or... imagine how bad that Defense would be without him.

So to recap the BDF, and conference hasn't started (other than TCU v ISU):

1-3 Against ranked teams. The one win was against the usually overrated ND, who is now 1-2.

Baylor (3-0): 2-0 in FBS OOC. Beat NWST (FCS), SMU, RIce. Next up Okie St
WV (2-0): 1-0 in FBS OOC. Beat Mizzou and Youngstown (FCS). Next up BYU

TCU (2-1): 0-1 in FBS OOC. Beat SoDakSt (FCS) & Iowa St. Next up SMU
Okie State (2-1): 1-1 in FBS OOC. Beat SE La (FCS) & Pitt. Lost to Cent Mich
Sips (2-1): 2-1 in FBC OOC. Beat ND, UTEP & Cal. Next up Bye, then Okie State
Tech (2-1): 1-1 in FBS OOC. Beat SFA (FCS) & La Tech. Lost to Az St. KU next
K-State (1-1): 1-1 in FBS OOC. Beat FAU. Lost Stanford. Next up Mizz St (FCS)

Kansas (1-2): 0-2 in FBS OOC. Beat FCS Rho Island. Lost to Ohio & Memphis. Next TTU
OU (1-2): 1-2 in FBS OOC. Beat ULM, lost to Houston & tOSU. Bye, then TCU

Iowa State (0-3): 0-1 in FBS. 0-1 in FSC. UNoIll (FCS), Iowa, TCU. Next SJSU

To summarize: 9-10 in FBS OOC. 6-1 in FCS.
They have BYU, SJSt and SMU remaining. Mizzou St (FCS) to round out the OOC.
Best they can hope for is 2 Games over .500 in FBC OOC. In conference it is .500.

With only 3 OOC games, they don't have enough games to bring Ws into the conference.

None of them have looked particularly impressive. I think they will have at least 4 teams that are 7-5 and 3 with losing records (Tech, KU, Iowa State).

Yes, unless WV turns out to be the genuine article (improbable). The conference needs to make sure rapelor loses a few games. Conference cannot be fronted by rapelor for a few years.
