Kliff was placed on IR at the beginning of the season. From what I've read it was to protect other teams from attaining his talents than it was a real serious injury.

Actually, that is correct. I am a close friend of his agent.

I started as a finance major at a&m and a 3.8 at tech would probably be a 3.6 at a&m... tech likes multiple choice exams

Symons and Kingsbury are both good quarterbacks. Kingsbury did not bring TT to their current status. The early success of Symons tells me your coach and "the system" have brought TT to where they are. It takes a talented QB to run your system. I'm not saying you can plug anyone into the QB spot and garner the same results. However, like KK I doubt Symons will do much on the next level. He will have one heck of fun season this year though.

Symons success this year further indicates the Kingsbury was a product of the system. Hate to say it but it's true.

Maybe dingleberry will be free this weekend to cut my grass. He can tell me about all of those NFL TDs he's never going to throw.

how about we compare who has more guys in the NFL, since neither of us have a QB in the NFL recently worth mentioning

We didn't produce a quarterback that threw for a million yards to go with half a million touchdowns. The humor comes from the fact that his numbers mean nothing, and even tho he set records, he wont be good at his current level.

I saw yesterday that he was placed on the DL for the remainder of the season (arm) that's all it says. Poor Kliff.

You can preach all you want about how numbers mean nothing, but the fact is that numbers produce results, and results produces wins. Maybe your team should try producing some "numbers"

Couldn't you say the same about Geoff or Aldo? That's right you don't know him or anything about him besides his football career. True many people that go to tech are UT and A&M rejects, as was Kliff. He wanted to play for UT or A&M, but the only schools that offered him were Mississippi State and Tech. Although tech is not as good a school as A&M or UT, they don't just give 3.8 gpa's to anyone. If so the entire football team would be Academic All-Americans like Kliff.

But I'm sure all Aggies are used to making six figures coming straight out of college...probably like that new A&M graduate, wearing the ring who served me a burger and asked me if I would like fries with that the other day.
