I think Tech or A&M, even though Baylor has the Baptist thing going. I haven't been through Lubbock that much, so I can't say too much on them. I'm just assuming because of its location and that its ag heavy.

UT actually has many conservative students. They just get overshadowed by the loudmouths.

Minus a few outlier fanatics on both spectrums, the demographic/psychographic breakdown of A&M and UT is a lot more comparable than what it used to be. I'd venture to say that 70% of A&M's undergraduate population comes from the Houston and Dallas metropolis. Also, I know a lot of departments within the large College of Agriculture aren't "ag" in the traditional sense. The College of Agriculture included fields of study such as Genetics, Pathology, and Environmental Conservation.

I knew kids from Westlake Hills and Highland Park that were majoring in Agricultural Economics or Animal Science. I also knew students from places like Giddings and Florence that were taking Electrical Engineering and Architecture. I also had a lot of conservative friends that went on to attend The University of Texas

Tech? Well lump the students that fell just outside the top 90% of their graduating class, regardless of the town size or location, and welcome them with open arms. Sure they'll be bitter and jealous of the flagships for the remainder of their miserable lives, but that's the price you pay for being on the wood shop track..

good question-- Baylor pretends to be more conservative, but I don't buy it. Behind closed doors, all bets are off. I'd have to say aTm with the corps and all their little rules they have. I think they like authority-- it's structured that way-- seniors have certain privileges and such.

My only caveat in this regard is that it's been a long time since I've been on any of these campuses. At the time, having been to all three, the one I thought was the most conservative (read: "Least Fun" was Baylor.

[Edit: Um, I don't know what I did, but I didn't mean to put a "winky face" there.]
