To summarize: A San Antonio sportswriter quotes the tu QB and his coach in a news story, and the story is posted w/o comment (save for "tu," which is my SOP) and these two bozos respond as they did above.

I don't think that's fair for Chance to say. I've been to every game this year. It is true that Vince gets a huge ovation when he comes into the game, but the crowd made a lot of noise for Chance when he sprinted in after Vince's injury.

I don't know, but I'm sure that Reggie got some pretty big cheers last year when he came in for Long. I don't remember Long publicly complaining about it. Chance would be better served by not listening to the crowd, and continuing to play as hard as he can when he gets on the field.

who cares? OU smokes tu by 17 if Montana is qb.

I must admit that Chance finds a way to make some of the most peculiar statements.

He must have been the only one watching that game last week that didn't realize that the only way Texas was going to win, was with VY on the field. Why shouldn't the fans cheer the best chance for the team to pull out a victory?

Fact of life: The second string QB at tu is ALWAYS the most popular guy in town.

UT fans LOVE potential. Unproven star potential will always get the most cheers from UT fans. I don't think this will ever change.

Mock needs to get his panties out of the wad they are in. We cheer when he starts the game. We cheer when Vince comes in. We cheer when Mock comes back in the game.

We're excited, Big F'ing Deal. It's not like we're booing him or not cheering at all when he is in there.

Most Horns think both QB's need to see the field. I'm not sure what more Mock wants.

Chance's dad went to technological, so there are genetic issues.

That said, nobody likes nutless bovine fans.

Chance just isn't the most media savy guy in the world, but he's a team guy and his heart's in the right place.

I kind of like it that he seems to forget the bad stuff that's happened and he feels he can get it done everytime he goes out there. He was probably thinking, "hell, I just hit Sloan for a pretty TD pass, and I can do it again."

Also, Chance has yet to throw an interception, or anything close to an interception. He always puts it someplace where the defense has no shot.
