I believe the Texas @ A&M game is already sold out

I don't think the first thing on Fran's list is attendance right now. I don't know if you saw the game, but our defense was pitiful. I think he will probably concentrate on fixing all our turnover, penalty, and defense problems.

Only the sips care about our attendance. Fran doesn't. He has other things to worry about.

I think the Twelfth Man has more to worry about than getting attendance to 80,000+. Let's first work on making sure people stay for the whole game, no matter the outcome. I was shocked at the number of people leaving the game (seemed like more than usual...). One of the Yell Boys got up in the stands and started chasing down fish and a senior who were trying to leave the game....

Hopefully, the guys that were leaving didn't have a prior engagement and didn't kick the yell leader's ass.

I have no clue why they were leaving, but I thought i was pathetic that he got up in the stands.

There were too many people leaving for it just to be "previous engagements"...at least where i was sitting...

I'm not saying that everybody had prior engagments, obviously. I would say that 99.5% of the people leaving are just fickle fans that can't see the big picture (see the A&M Football Board).

I'm just saying, that personally, if I was leaving early BECAUSE of a "prior engagement" and a yell leader jumped up into the stands to try to stop me, he would have found himself back on the field in a hurry with a foot up his ass.

People shouldn't be leaving early. Yell leaders shouldn't be jumping into the stands to try to stop people from leaving early.

KatyAg- Ok...gotcha, I misunderstood what you were saying.

I didn't say I agreed with what he did, I thought it was an asinine thing to do. I was just showing it as an example of something I saw happen in my section. Frankly, it really shocked me that it happened. I turned to my friend and we were like "oh my goodness..."

I think it was just lack of contol on his part, he saw fish and a senior from his outfit leave and decided he was going to be all self-righteous and go after them.

If that's true, then I've officially seen everything.

We sure have a time-honored tradition of this crap when we are losing games at home.

Yell leaders chasing down fans...are you serious? I would have busted him in the lip.

At least no swords were drawn.

I think part of it was that game just lasted forever, an hour for each quarter played basically. It was one of the worst heat games I remember in the last few years people were just worn out on top of the score.

Let me get this straight....if a fan decides to leave a game early, he will be physically restrained by a representative of the university.

BTW I turned on the TV this morning and it was still tuned to TBS...John Travlota is bringing a dog back to life. Who makes and watches this crap?

What if the "fish and the senior" weren't leaving early? What if they had the runs from drinking cheap ass Milwaukee's Beast after Yell Practice the night before, and were heading to the boy's room????

I don't think it's a good idea to restrain someone who's heading for the shttier because they got The Beast Runs. Not a good idea at all.
