Did you see the latest SI. In a poll of TEXAS residents the ASStros and the lame texans got punked out by the Rangers and the Cowboys. Not to mention the Mavericks were preferred over the Rockets and the Spurs. Face it, Houston sports teams just plain suck...end of argument. Even if they are winning nobody still likes them. What a bunch of losers!!

The whole Mavericks being preferred just shows you how fickle and bandwagon-esque fans of professional sports can be. That is a freaking joke! The Mavs are a johnny-come-lately to popularity.

Good point missin. But it is really hard to compete with Dallas sports. The Cowboys got the city going early and now the city loves a winner. It dosn't take much to get these fans going. They are the best in the country. Just look at the Rangers 2 million fans this year in a third consecutive last place finish.

Why does dallas have to prove itsself? Your'e the ones with all the envy....I mean, yeah, you have a couple of nba titles, but does that stand up to FIVE superbowl titles and just for good measure throw in a stanley cup? Also, I'd take the ballpark in Arlington ANY DAY over that sand box that ya'll crammed into Houston (sorry, but I am still trying to figure out why in the world they put it where they did...NO parking whatsoever, and getting out of there is a mess). Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of EVERYTHING PRO SPORT WISE IN TEXAS, but you guys thinking you are great when you haven't ever done anything is just silly

Wrong. There are thousands of spaces within easy walking distance with a good many of them being free after 6:00. There is also access to three interstates. You obviously know nothing about Houston.
