Tower envy?

I think more people would associate y'all with a fat, lazy castrated cow than a bug-light building.

Also, it may be the most recognized symbol on your campus, but I went to A&M from out of state (guess which state) and I'd never heard of any silly bug-light tower until I went to 6th Street for the first time.

Which shows better on the state as being recognized, a stupid tower for the sips or something like this:

Your stadium was cool that day, but the Tower is way more known and recognizeable.

I only know the tower because of one thing and that ain't the lights!

It's rediculous no one wants to admit the popularity of the Tower's image. That is like saying I don't know what the state capital looks like.

The most recognizable symbol on a college campus is, was, and always will be BONFIRE!!! No other symbol has ever had over 50,000 people come out and stand around it. It is still more recognized today and is not even on campus.

Bonfire was only well known in the state of Texas, and then really only for the UT/A&M game. It was the most well known bonfire of all, but it was probably not more well known than a building such as the Tower.
