A)Benson is right on! Mack needs to dance with who brung him! Mack can recruit superstars; he just doesn't know how to use them to their fullest potential.

B)Benson needs to shut up and play football! Benson had plenty of carries and if he had averaged more yards per carry; he would have had more carries! Mack's won 9 games a year since he's been in Austin; so Benson needs to leave the coaching to the coach!

A.

C - he needs to shut up, play football, and if he has an issue bring it first to his position coach and then, if necessary, up the chain.

"Breaking" that story to the media is, IMO, worth sitting him in the opener.

For the most part B. The player needs to shut up and stop questioning a coach in public. I know that if this happened at A&M, I would be spitting mad. Why Cedric's the bonger comments have any validity is because Mackaroo the Third has made some very odd player decisions in the past. He has been a very successful coach, (i.e. wins vs. losses.) however the public perceives that he mishandles some of his talent.

Cedric needs to also understand that he was not brought in to have a 4 yds per carry average. He was recruited as a superstar, therefor superstar expectations are lumped on him. He is expected to make game breaking runs.

Mace iii also needs to understand how to handle his talent. If he can ever learn to handle it, his life will be very easy.

The game I remember Cedirc being on the biggest roll was the ISU game. I don't remember him being pulled from that one.

I posted the for an informational link...Would you like to go stat by stat, line by line, I think the stats are all meaningless, except for the Ws and Ls.

Cedric needs to learn to think before he pops off and consider the effect his popping off has on his teammates, his team, his coaches, his parents and friends, and his school.

I'm sure they will all be teaching him about it in the coming days.
