Post pics of the DKR crowd at kick off and during the fourth quarter please. If you have close-ups of the sections where they gave tickets to all the local boy scout troops, pop warner teams etc that would be cool too.

A little research, that is the Kstate game from 2008. That is the season Sherman lost the home opener to Arkansas State, squeaked out a win at New Mexico for game 2, lost bad to Miami in game 3, barely beat Army in game 4 and got whooped by OSU in game 5. Our 6th game was against Kstate. The time this picture was taken, less than 2 minutes were left in the game and Kstate was just about to score and go up by 21 points.

Ya, people were leaving the stadium depressed and shattered. The attendence recorded however was 78,669.

Recorded attendance? Half of the pics in this thread are probably from the Texas-UTEP game in 2009 when it was hot and attendance looked horrible. Recorded attendance for the game? 101,144.

How about in 2010 when Texas had a 4-5 record and faced Okie State at home, losing 33-16? Recorded attendance = 100,659.

Just in case y'all are really that gullible, those aren't pictures from the Wyoming game. Those are pictures taken completely out of context. The Wyoming game was packed. In a year when attendance is down and seven of eight SEC home openers were not sell-outs, Texas probably had one of the best crowds in the country. It was packed. But go ahead with your make-believe world.
