when you get to constantly play the oakland can't hits, the indians and seattle slow bats, it's easy to get those good pitching numbers, which will correct themselves as the season goes on (the yanks and red sox scored lots of runs (averaged 5.333 runs per game) against the rangers).

Oh and the rangers are 4th worst in fielding and have 17 errors... i guess that's par for good fielding, mr ranger fan?

Why is it that these threads, which have become cliche now, never fail to reel in a few whoopers?

All on has to do is think of the dumbest, most arrogant thing to say about one team or the other, no matter how early in the season, and then fans of the offended team fall over themselves trying to be the ones to post the most zingeriffic retort? These threads really brighten my day...

Poor spewston, just last week things were going so great for their town:

- Spurs beat the Mavs
- Rangers were in last place
- Cowboys drafted a seedy character

What a successful week in Houston, they had every reason to thump their chests on every thread.

riiiiiight. whatever floats your boat. cuz you know, i remember all the rangers fans around last september when the rangers were sliding back to mediocrity.... oh wait. Seems like even though the yanks won zero world series from 2001 to 2008, they led the major leagues in attendance for the decade.... Don't be mad that pretty much no one outside of the hicks' immediate family (judging my the 14000 people at a rangers game earlier last week) know the rangers exist...
