Whats the best method or oline course to get this done?

Not looking at this as a profession already have a full time job. Just looking to actually get the license to come in handy if i ever need it, want to find land to purchase and overall become more knowledgeable about contracts and real estate in general.

If you want to get your license I would vote for Champions in Houston either online or in person.

For what you're saying you want to do, I would say a license is probably not worth it. But if you're just looking to educate yourself, then I would take a couple of the legal or niche classes through Champions.

I do real estate part time and did the classes at Champions back in 2016/2017. You can do it online as i've had friends do it that way, but i'm an in class learner so I opted to do it at the Champions location.

I send all my employees to Champions online and tell them to do a few hundred practice problems before the test. I have never had anyone fail the test.

The Colorado test is pretty dang hard but the Texas test is easy. Just do your work and you will be fine.

I went to Champions in Houston. I did real estate for five years, full time, and I'm going be very frank with you, for what you want to do, it's not worth it. If you are going to do it for real or use it as a supporting education then that would be different.

I maintain my license because my business includes working with a ton of Realtors and property managers for commercial and residential real estate. So, it's valuable to them that I know their world and know their contracts and what's what.

In my opinion, much of the value you seek isn't going to be found by taking a class and getting a license. It's not hard and the class really opens your eyes as to why so many Realtors are considered idiots and why an experienced legit Realtor is worth their weight in gold. As with any venture, Much of what you seek comes from experience and dealing with transactions frequently. Just my opinion.
