We are looking to rent out our house in Seabrook and trying to figure out the insurance. Do any of y'all rental owners have recommendations for an insurance agent? All the quotes I've gotten so far seem way too high. I'm new to all this so any help is appreciated.Thanks

Have you tried Liere Insurance? I used them years ago when I had a rental.

Liere didn't have any landlord last time I tried them.
Check with Sage Sure. They seem to be the go to for landlord these days. At least for cost reasons, no idea on how they are to work with on claims.

I had trouble this summer trying to find landlord insurance in Houston but Allstate was the cheapest out of the handful I could find.
We used State Farm for a long time for our personal home, but they told us they dont to landlord when we wanted to move and rent out the old house.

We have Amica insurance on our rent house.
Does Matt shop numerous carriers, including Allstate, Amica, etc...? I'm currently with Goosehead on my rental home...somewhat out of necessity...but they are totally incompetent.

Amica is really good so I suggest you contact them. I don't think they are one of the companies written by Liere.
Amica said they'll only insure a rental if they insure the primary dwelling as well.

They do insure my primary dwelling.
When we switched we did home, rental home, cars, and umbrella policy.
