I keep getting approached by norfleet/ EPCOR about leasing ground water on land that I own in burleson county.

Anyone have experience working with them and the leasing process? I'm sure there are gotchas….

I am in Southern Milam county and have my ground water leased. They ship it to San Antonio. The name of the company escapes me but it is not one you listed. Mine is under the post oak Savannah ground water districts

The guy I bought my land from signed the lease so I am not super familiar with the terms.

I believe that if the water table drops and your well is out of the water they have to reset it for free.

I think ours is a 30 year lease, we can't sell water to others, we can use all the water we want for ag use on the property, I can reserve the water rights when I sell land to keep payments like oil.

Thanks! The royalties they are offering me are pretty small. Maybe $1k on 15 acres

I make about $700 per month for 240 acres

My leasing company is vista ridge out of San Antonio

They are the company that built the pipeline and sell water to SAWS

Being in Burleson County you are in the Post Oak Savana gcd

I'd call and talk to them

For $1000 id hold off 24 to 36 months and see what happens at Sandow Lakes Ranch.

The water hasn't even started flowing to Samsung yet.

You've got water and everyone else needs it. If you don't need the money id push off
