Is that really that big of a deal? The poster is trying to send money to local businesses. Are they only allowed to do business with you?

get a star and I'll give you the best painter in town, paints everything mentioned with all the other subs that work with him, drywall, texture, etc this would be more for your house not a rent house, and he's very reasonable $

Holman Plumbing.

Enercon has been great on replacing windows.

Internet you're likely stuck with SuddenLink unless Frontier fiber is offered in the neighborhood.

For carpet we've had good experience with Home Depot subs. They're very concerned about positive ratings and so try and do a good job.

Any reputable a/c guys that don't mind swapping out the capacitor with saying we have to replaciethe entire system.

Air concept is the best value I have come across in town. Always fair - tell them you found them on texags

In this environment a competent contractor is hard to find.
Sharing that information is like sharing the coordinates of your best fishing hole.
