Looking for 5 to 10 acres (+/-) in Burleson county. Mostly wooded, no highway frontage...what would be a reasonable price per acre?

don't expect minerals, its literally a gold mine under a lot of land in the county.

That small you are looking at anywhere from 10-20k an acre.

In this day and age, getting minerals is more rare than a unicorn

Wildhorse Resources agrees. Burleson County currently has some very nice wells.

Out of curiosity what is a good well? How does 900 bopd compare to average?

I'll let the legit oil boys here take this one, but from what I've seen in the Eagle Ford, 1000-2000 bopd on a horizontal 600-acre unit is a pretty damn good well. I don't know what they consider a good well in the Permian, though.

Some will come in initially at that, and then, according to production reports, settle in at 300 bopd. Whether that is due to the reservoir/formation, or due to the operator throttling things back for one reason or another is not generally public information.

What say ye, oil boys?
