Just what the title says. Looks like the home hasnt been treated for termites, at least since 2001.

What would be a ballpark cost for termite treatment for 2250 sqft house?

We paid $1300 for two years of termite treatment in Austin with Terminix. It's also included some pest control stuff, so maybe around $1100 for the termites. Our sq ft is right at 2000 and we actively had termites in the front yard and backyard.

Didn't see any active termites but have had some insect damage at some point. It's at a house my brother is interested in purchasing.

Don't treat it "just because." If you want to waste money for peace of mind, you can buy the chemical online and do it yourself. Dig a trench around the house (assuming slab) and pour it in. Probably $200 for that size.

Also curious about treating dry wood termites locally versus tenting the entire house. Is this effective?

When selling house will buyer accept a localized treatment?
