Anyone look at this development up on Grand Parkway just east of Hardy Toll Road? Location seems pretty good and schools too.

My guess is areas off the Grand Parkway will continue to grow and prices good steady/appreciate.

Thoughts?

If it's the start of a big development I'd be cautious because things can always change, or if you need to move you may find yourself competing directly against new construction.

Ya, I do worry about completing against new construction should we have to move again. Might be better to pick an established burb like Kingwood or the Woodlands, but we'll stop in and have a look I suppose. No harm there.

Been in the Falls for a few years now. I have no complaints other than the pool is too small for the size of the neighborhood. They are building another however so I hope that helps.

Hey Reload,

WIth the recent flooding events, was any of the Falls affected? Parts of it are right on the edge of the flood plain.

Really no issue that I am aware of. I'm in The Falls Facebook group and nobody reported any issue other than some temporary road flooding. Aldine-Westfield was impassible for a while during and shortly after the rains that left a few cares stranded but all in all we fared well.
