I'm in need of recommendations for property tax protest companies in Waller County. Bettencourt Tax Advisors were recommended to us, but we missed their deadline for outlying counties. The Appraisal Notices were received last week.

This is for commercial real property in Waller County - 5 separate locations.

Anyone have any suggestions?

You could drop an email to Aggie County Judge Trey Duhon at t.duhon@wallercounty.us and see if he has a recommendation.Even though you will be trying to reduce the County tax revenue, Trey is also a lawyer and owns a Title Company, so he should be anxious to work with a real estate prospect.

You can try William Horn out of Houston if it's commercial, but he might be booked up. He is good and an Ag. 713-840-1729

I doubt the county judge will or should help with a tax protest in the county he represents.
