Getting a Quonset hut style metal building built for use as a barndominium seems much cheaper than a traditional I-beam metal building but I've never seen one built around here. Any thoughts?

Something like this: http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSDIl5b4IMjcUkZ4FT6zMG5BUe1vqGPLiXIt_A5yuruU4yElC09E7XLAeXi

They are cheaper because it is a more efficient design and uses less material.

Pro: Cheaper, easy to construct

Con: Typically not as aesthetically appealing as a traditional metal building, you care going to have a lot of wasted space near the exterior walls due to their curved shape if you do traditional stud walls for your barndo, did I mention that most people think that they are ugly?

Funny seeing this thread, as I just heard about "barndominiums" over the weekend and spent a bit of time looking at them online. I love the unfinished industrial look, so these are something I'd really be interested in hearing more about.

Here are some builders....
