I know Champions comes highly recommended, but it's also the most expensive by far. Is it worth the price? I also came across Kapre.com (Kaplan Professional Schools) and schoolestate.com that both offer online classes and are considerable less. All three come with the same National & Texas prep-courses.

Any recommendations?

Allied is pretty cheap, if not the cheapest, and they have a guarantee that you pass your exam if you buy the package with study materials. I think they also price match. If you end up deciding to use them, I can recommend/refer you and I think we each get $50 gift card to Amazon.com. My email is in my profile.

My wife did hers through American School of Real Estate Express. It was $350 for the package as long as you complete it in less than 6 months. It was pretty easy for her to complete in that time frame and she did not have a problem passing the test.

I did mine through Champion, but as the poster said above it was more expensive than what is offered now.

if you're going to do it online, I doubt there is a huge difference between the different companies.

In person, Champions is the best because you get to meet a lot of industry people that will be useful contacts when getting started in the business.

Did mine through Champions 8 years ago. Not sure what all the options are these days...but could be 6 one way, 1/2 dozen the other. They've all got to cover essentially the same stuff.

I did Champions for TX but have used Allied for some other states. I can recommend either as being a good avenue.

I went through Allied Business School, they are based in CA. I took the courses online so it was easy and faster to complete. At the time I took the course they guaranteed you would pass the state exam on your first try or they would refund your money.
