I am looking for lot loan financing for a Lot in College Station. I plan on building on the lot in about a year, two years at the latest. Does anyone have a good contact for this kind of financing? Or know a local bank that will do this?

Looking to put 10% down, should have no problem qualifying either. Any contacts or any help would be greatly appreciated.

You will likely be required to place 20% so be prepared. That's what I was told from multiple lenders.

I do not know the terms, but Bitter Old Man who posts on here a lot does those kind of loans. Maybe PM him

Ever since the banking crisis of 2008 20% is pretty much standard. The only way you may get around it is if the appraisal comes back a lot higher than the sale price.

I did some googling last night and finally found a Texas Credit Union that does Lot loans up to 90% LTV. Thanks for everyone's input and help.

The bank is called, "Security Service Federal Credit Union" for 10% down the interest rate is 7% and it's a 15 year fixed. This is on platter lots only I believe not just land loans FYI
