GAINESVILLE, Fla. The Texas A&M women's basketball team is set to face off against the Florida Gators inside Exactech Arena at 12 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 28.

The Aggies (15-4, 3-3 SEC) are fresh off a closely contested victory at Missouri, 69-67, which saw Lauren Ware post a career-high 22 points on 10-of-13 shooting. Ware also grabbed nine boards during the game and is a huge part of why Texas A&M is ranked No. 7 in the nation in rebounds per game (45.8).

Endyia Rogers has led the way for the Maroon & White offense through the first six games of SEC play, averaging 16.7 points per contest. The Dallas native is also ranked No. 6 in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio (3.2). Aicha Coulibaly has been just as consistent through league play, averaging 13.5 points per contest and scoring in double-digits in all but one game.

Florida (10-8, 1-5 SEC) is coming off an 81-70 loss against Ole Miss. The Gators are 5-3 at home and their bench ranks second in the SEC in scoring, averaging 24.8 points per game.

Amazing the number of "touch" fouls called on the Lady Aggs

Very disappointing day.

We need someone from last years team to be reliable for us.

Im going to keep saying this, unless we get an offense with movement we will lose more than we win. The defense will pack it in and force us to shoot outside shots. I see the same plays being ran over and over again. Come on coaching staff, design some more plays. Oh well on to the next game.

Smart on Florida. All teams should do this against us. All of our point production comes from the paint bc outside of Rogers, we are a pretty horrendous shooting team.

This team is much better playing tempo instead of the half court game, in my opinion.

I am happy that she got the transfers and they have been good thus far. That is the quandry this staff is in, it looks to me like the offense is run for the transfers and little developement of the players that were there last year. You must have an offense that gets players opportunities to get to their sweet spots. I just dont see that happening except for the transfers.
The common denominator is that those players have the ball in their hands and make plays with dribble drive off screens. Im done for the day. On to the next game.

Our NET is at 35 after the weekend, down from 30.
