It was clutch and a very smart play in a pressure situation. She could have easily taken an out of control shot and charged into the defensive player.

IN the interview Gary said he benched her for the behind the back fiasco, but that when the game was on the line he depended on HER to get the job done. Not his words but his meaning.

Could someone describe the "behind the back fiasco" for me? Whenever the Ags (in any sport) start to lose alead, I figure it is me jinxing them, so I go to the other room and follow the gamecast. I never saw the fiasco.

BTW, I did watch the last 53 seconds, but I did not sit down (part of the jinx is sitting on the couch).

from what I remember she was dribbling around the top of the key and tried to change direction dribbling behind her back. Didn't see if it was a Stanford player or it hit off her body, but it ended up as a turnover.

I think it was a behind the back pass. Basically the same situation as the game winning assist, except she tried to get fancy and Stanford got the ball.

Fast break play where it was 2 on 2 I believe. She decided to try for a highlight reel I guess and passed the ball behind her while attacking the basket to the other Aggie (can't remember which one). She passed it instead straight to the Stanford player who passed it up to her teammate for an easy 2 pt layup. It was a very stupid play that she should've known better.

I am very proud of her though for her last play and completely making up for the mistake.

Glad to see she learned from her previous mistake. I was frustrated when I saw her make that behind-the-back attempt and had deja vu in the last couple of seconds. She made a beautiful pass to Tyra...truly a heads-up play to lead her team to the victory.
