Yes, the volume on the TVs is loud enough to be able to hear the commentators and interviews, and I don't recall any music. If there is music it's low enough to not be a bother.

There is also enough floor space to move around a little if you get excited (and you will get excited).

Each time we've gotten together there has turned out well.

Is there any place to have a viewing party that is family friendly and has a full bar? I have company in from Minneapolis and we will have two five year olds with us...and my friend isn't much of a sports fan. I think if the location served alcohol, it would help her gave a but more fun and be a bit more festive.

Any ideas?

Oh Boston's is a good idea! If they get bored they can go fool around at the fountains or Ben and Jerry's while I watch the game. I wonder if they will be televising it at Bostons?
