I believe she is a legacy recruit but that won't be much of a factor in her recruitment. Up until now most thought she was a lock for Baylor because of her camping there a lot and spending time on their campus, however, a few recruiting websites have now indicated they think A&M has a real shot to land her in November.

Jones is considered by some services to be the #1 prospect in the nation. Others actually like Moriah Jefferson more, but both are incredible players and no worse than Top 5 nationally. A&M has a shot at Jefferson as well, but most think she has UConn leading for her services right now, with A&M and Baylor in the mix as well. I just want to sign one of them and I'll be happy. The other guard that I'd really like A&M to land is Chelsea Jennings, she is really good and a great on-ball defender, which obviously is a perfect fit for A&M's system.

Well it just happens I ran into her FOLKS up in Austin at the State Championship. I had PRESS CREDENTIALS to cover the game and I've been writing about the young lady since she was in the 9th grade.

Her parents are really nice, peep this, mom did run track at A&M. Alexis is one of the best players I have ever seen, she is simply AMAZING.
