I've seen PelosiTracker, Trade With Congress, autopilot, etc. Has anyone tried these and actually received good information and executed successfully with that information?

The theory is great: so many people come to Congress with sub $500k net worth and leave with 20x that. And have an uncanny knack (wink) for buying stocks. I want to be like them. Is is possible with these sites?

Of course there is the disclosure delay, but even when they disclose late you can still get in.

At the urging of my teenage son, I bought NANC (Unusual Whales Subversive Democratic ETF) last November. I am now up 40% since that trade! I had no idea it would perform that well, should have bought more.

The problem with those trackers, if you follow blindly, is that the congressmember has 45 days to report the trade. The move on the stock could very well have already happened, and you're the exit liquidity if you buy when they report.

I did this with BBAI. Can't remember her name but there was a senator who was on all the committees/subcommittees, etc. for defense & technology and bought a sizeable chunk. >$50k. But I also looked heavily at the stock, board, C suite etc... and everything looked good. Made a decent profit off of it. But if you look at it over the last couple of years, it's been highly volatile.

I also think these stocks get a bump just after required reporting just for that reason - people think it's insider trading and buy.

So be very careful. (what Gaeilge mentioned) The insider traders (Congress) could be just trading for a short window and you catch a falling knife. Also, there are a number of trades Congress does not report in the time they are supposed to. Of course, nothing happens to them.
