Virtual assistant recommendations

How long do you want to ignore this user?

Going to be transitioning my assistant over to another member of the team. So I'm about to be on the hunt for a new one.

I have a pretty specific way that I want to work. I have a good SOP for what they're supposed to do to get things in the proper place and keep things organized. Seems like a lot of the services advertise that they train their people on a system. Which is fine but just saying someone coming pre-installed with a system isn't especially important since I already have one.

The real level up I'm hoping for is someone who is more proactive that can actually handle a lot of stuff that comes in. The difference between someone good and someone awesome is that the awesome person just handles a lot of administrative stuff without me ever really knowing about it.

Good example of what I'm talking about is that I was talking to an accounting firm about taking things over and they needed some financials. My current assistant handled the email aspect of it but I still had to get someone to gather up the financials and curate what the accountants wanted. This is the kind of thing I would prefer not to even be aware of.

Wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a service they've used to get paired with someone.

I've heard a lot of people use Belay with some success. I personally haven't taken the dive yet but I'm sure I will before long.
