Biden's administration has even said Tik Tok is Chinese spyware and were pushing to hamstring it. That effort seems to have faltered.

I'm sure it'll go obsolete before any type of meaningful ban is in place, if that's the end goal.

When DoD rolled out the tiktok ban hammer to contractors over summer I don't recall that big of a reaction.
