To kick off the new year, I am funneling my pay through an S Corp I created instead of it all being 1099 income. So, I will need to start receiving a payroll check from my S Corp. Recommendations for a platform to use? TIA
Will establish a simple IRA with some matching contributions.
Will add additional employees in the future.

Hope all had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

what are you using for bookkeeping?

I use QuickBooks for bookkeeping and payroll. It's not prefect and it's not the cheapest option, but I know the software, it does what I want it to (like job costing) and automatically runs payroll for me or allows me to put in hours. It does give an option for employees to enter their own hours for your approval if you get to that point or need it. Biggest benefit to me is the seamless integration between the two which is worth the added cost.

Second Gusto.

Square Payroll is also a good option. Not quite as feature rich as Gusto but works for most small employers.

Rippling

Have not heard good things about Gusto from those I know who have used it, but looks like some others in the thread have positive experiences.

Happy to talk through this with you if you are evaluating payroll and retirement options. Spent the last 2 plus years understanding payroll platforms and have used, evaluated and worked for one of the said recommendations. Cm @ prosperretirement.com. I own a 401k recordkeeping platform. Expenses are cheaper inside a 401k vs a simple, you can save more and secure act 2.0 just made the tax credits to where the costs are covered for the first 3 full years 100% up to $5,000 in each year.

Depending how often you plan to pay yourself and if you don't have other employees in the S corp, it is pretty simple to just have a bookkeeper at an accounting firm (CPA) handle this and file the S corp taxes as well as the 940 and 941 forms.
