Has anyone invested with this group? Any advantages over a standard investment vehicle such as Vanguard (where I have most of my stock/funds/bonds investments)? Just wondering if I should take the time to line up a call with him.

I'm very interested, but not at a place to pull the trigger yet. I don't think this is the same thing as the different Vanguard funds, I believe those are already public companies. Ring Ventures is a fund of pre-IPO companies, I want to say around 20-25 different ones. If/when any or all of those companies do go public, that is where the investment pays off. If I'm not mistaken, they are very early in the process. I think they're only on their second fund.

Fee structure resembles a hedge fund FYI. Not throwing rocks, just letting you know as that is very different from a mutual fund. Thought about it, but passed.
