What's the timeline on the return?

Initial investment returned 3-5 years.

Hitting double digits most like every year after that with complete return a little more than 12 years in total.

Annualized cash flow return is roughly $10k

yes, VIX hits 80 this week and possibly tomorrow. Futures trading already hit the limit-down band within minutes of opening at 5pm today.

This is a generational event and I've been banging the bell about it since January, my hospital was extremely proactive as well mobilizing resources in early february but we're almost overwhelmed within a week and half of our first case. The next 3-6 weeks are going to get kinda scary and I'm concerned about the economic hardships that are about to happen, the federal government obviously believes the same as they open flood gates.

Wow thanks, this futures action is scary, I thought vix hit 80 Thursday and that would put us on the road to recovery but if it didn't maybe we haven't hit rock bottom yet.

Look at Sysco Foods (SYY). Very well-run business with great long-term 5-10 year chart. Has been hit very hard due to closure of college campuses and restaurants (down 60% off its all-time highs of just 60 days ago). Assuming we ever return to a normal lifestyle, should be getting great value. Dividend aristocrat who has also been a growth story. PE below 10, Div above 4% due to coronavirus.

I like DRE's advise. Also check out Exxon, Chevron. They are down 60% and paying 6 or 8% dividends. Hard to screw that up if you have time to wait it out.
