I partied with an executive of an IT infrastructure company last night. He was explaining the future 5G network and the implications it will have for business. Exciting times!

As far as I'm concerned, 5G is fake news until it's not. Won't believe it until I see it.

I do think Bonfire is probably right though on the content theme.

I am about to buy DIS again. They sent out a email offering 2 or 3 years of DIS+ for a reduced rate. If everyone who has ever been to Disney got this email and even half jump on the offer their initial subs are going to be off the charts.

It was a smart play. The skyrocketing share prices of ROKU and NFLX and AMZN were not based on fundamentals, but rather user engagement through subscription numbers. If DIS opens up in November and says, "by the way we already have 5 million subs." The stock goes way up.

Roku has beaten estimates every quarter. They are executing well. They will survive. They are in the most households of any device. Any streaming service who wants viewers and subscribers will have to partner with ROKU.

So if you were to purchase only 1, you think Roku over DIS?
