With the news out this morning, looks like US relations with Cuba may eventually strengthen. Thoughts on potential plays if/when this happens? Tourism, impacts on the rest of the Caribbean, etc?
quote:I did a party boat that sounded like this in Barcelona. It was a 2 hour ride and they had college student "workers" that were "working abroad" in the industry of getting people and themselves drunk. Paid a good dollar for it but completely worth it. Such a great business plan. Are party boats common in Florida/California?
Yes, the plan is to find some rich investors from NY, who let's say "like to party", take their money buy (and by buy I mean finance) a couple of high speed hydrofoil ferries from the bankrupt Greeks, hedge your fuel costs buying WTI futures through 2020, staff your customer service with low to unpaid intern students from the University of Florida Gulf Coast, Miami, and FSU, advertise running the Ferries from Miami to Havana with Dwayne Wade, Justin Timberlake, Gloria Esteffan, and probably some of those interns from UFGC. You will sell Che Guevara shirts, cuba libres, linen pants, shirts, shorts, sunscreen, and swim wear on the way over and advil and aloe vera on the way back. I will sell all of my ownership at an obscene profit before the first round trip is complete or payment on anything is due.
This is literally the most fool proof business plan the world has ever seen. If any of you ass holes get the funding to attempt this before me I will accept lifetime free rides & drinks as compensation. You're welcome!
