What is going on with the Fannie (FNMA) and Freddie Mac (FMCC) "stocks"?

I have watched these guys climb out of the grave and keep rising for the past couple of weeks. Are these people just playing round of roullette hoping for a high risk payoff?

Interesting. I didnt' know they still had trading stocks.

I agree I wish the government would do away with them.

The only reason I knew about them was a Wall Street Journal article a few weeks ago about the on going trading of what they dubbed as "Zombie Stocks." That is stocks that come out of the grave.

They won't die because the government won't allow it. I've been sitting on some FMCC for several years and just loaded up on more when it was around 90 cents. I'm loving this run, but like anything else, it could be over any day. Personally, I'm thinking these stocks start working their way back to the $20 range before you know it. Crazy? Maybe. Only time will tell.
