Who all uses them? Do you invest through your own state? I have been putting in through Missouri (my residence) for the past year, and the main reason was because I thought the contributions if through Missouri were tax deductible - but really it doesnt matter which state I contribute to, it's still tax deductible for MO state taxes.

One of the things I hate is having to go to a different site to access my Missouri MOST 529 stuff. I use Fidelity for everything.. 401k, ROTH, UTMA.. I'd rather just manage a 529 there. They offer some plans through other states:

The Fidelity Arizona College Savings Plan (AZ)
The Delaware College Investment Plan (DE)
The U.Fund College Investing Plan (MA)
The UNIQUE College Investing Plan (NH)

Anyone know enough about these? Is it worth switching from MO to one of these states just for the simplicity of being able to manage all of my accounts on one site?

I'd look at the performance of those others, and unfortunately I don't know much about them. I have set my son's 529 up and I only look at it occasionally. But I have it through Schwabb (KS) Here is another recent thread on 529's http://texags.com/main/forum.reply.asp?topic_id=2033732&forum_id=57]
