I live in Hanford, not too far from there.

The valley isn't great but if you're willing to drive a bit there's some pretty good stuff to do within a couple hours. To the east, the Sequoias have really good opportunities for hiking, camping, etc, as well as the Sierras and Yosemite just a bit further north.

On the west side of the valley you've got SLO, Monterey, and Paso Robles, all good spots.

I know of a few other Aggies around here, especially around Hanford/Lemoore, though I've never really seen anything organized in the local area, just the bigger SOCAL type groups.
