Heading to Ireland next week for business. Staying just outside Dublin. I'm not really excited about going, but it'll be good to escape the AZ heat for a few days.

San Antonio this weekend for dove hunting. Hopefully they aren't all shot up by then.

I feel like it's been a minute since I posted in the monthly travel thread, summer is always such a whirlwind!

No big trips on the horizon for me this month, just a few baseball tournaments for my son.
Back in July, we went to South Padre for the first time and had a blast. We stayed at the Courtyard, which was a solid option for us, though next time I think we'll probably rent a house or condo instead.

Last month we also took a quick 4-night Virgin Voyages cruise, and I honestly can't recommend them enough! The food, service, and drinks were incredible, and it's such a great value for what you get (walking away with a little casino win didn't hurt either!). If anyone is thinking about trying Virgin Voyages, let me know, I'd love to help you book and throw in some extra perks!

I've got some fall travel coming up too, including my very first visit to Carmel-by-the-Sea and a trip to check out a few new resorts in Mexico.

Booked 10 days in Pattaya and Koh Samet for the first part of October.

Shockingly, I am not traveling at all this September and honestly, it is fantastic!
My husband and daughter are headed to Atlanta this weekend to visit the Georgia Aquarium and see the Georgia game, then traveling to Green Bay to cheer on Notre Dame.

Headed to Madrid then Valencia today.

Leaving Sunday on a 6 night cruise out of Galveston onboard Symphony of the Seas. Looking forward to a relaxing week.

Leaving tomorrow for 2 weeks in Spain and Portugal. 3 days in Lisbon, then a 7 day cruise (to accommodate the mother in law) around the Iberian peninsula and Balearic Isles, and finishing 4 nights in Barcelona.

Really need this break.

Leaving Sunday for Basel, Switzerland and a 8 day Rhine River Cruise ending in Amsterdam.

Got emails yesterday about itinerary changes. (was expecting this due to heat and drought this summer)
But, only two days on buses and one hotel night then then transfer to another boat.

I can live with that. Unfortunately, the best scenery, the Rhine Gorge will be missed.

After a summer of sticking around Bosnia, it's time for a few trips. Croatia and Montenegro the next two weekends. Booking fall trips home to Texas and either the Dolomites or somewhere in Greece.

Costa Rica next week. Going to an area we've never been before. Far north near Nicaraguan border. Beach and relax time.

Leave next week for a two week experience in Milan, Lake Como, and Lugano.

In route to Vietnam / Cambodia for a river cruise with my father-in-law who served there.

We're leaving in a few weeks for New Mexico, Arizona and Utah. Will be gone about a month. Camping on BLM/National Forest land. Will be in and around Gila Wilderness, Canyon de Chellys, South and North rims of Grand Canyon and Zion.

I love my job

Flying back from working in Ruidoso. Nice to get a break from the heat. Got to stop off in White Sands - it's always a fun stop, even when it's 100 degrees.

Headed to Bozeman and then up to Glacier NP next week.

Boise the week after for work. Haven't been since January. This is probably the longest I've gone between Idaho trips.
