Looking at a trip to UK next spring and am looking for the best site to buy EPL tickets. We'd be there over spring break. Arsenal is at Stamford Bridge that week, so I recognize tickets are going to be pricey.

Has anyone gone through any sites to buy EPL tickets? I saw that VividSeats and Stubhub are both considered unauthorized resellers, and they could void those tickets.

Definitely not my area of expertise but I would for sure avoid unauthorized resellers. European club teams keep a firm grip on their tickets.

Best bet is going through the club (Chelsea) or a DMC that has local connections for tickets. They'll know the authorized resellers.

Chelsea has a ticket exchange, but you have to register to use it. I'm not sure if there's a fee to register, but assume there is. If you're an Arsenal fan, I'm not sure how you would get tickets -- I guess through a similar system with Arsenal. Just know that it's not like stadiums in the US where you can sit anywhere regardless of the team you support. Opposing fans have to sit in the visitors supporting section and you can be tossed for wearing the other team's colors. They take it pretty seriously.

I've been to Stamford Bridge once, about 20 years ago, and it was a great experience. If you're a big EPL fan, I highly suggest it. Option B if you can't find tickets is to locate a Chelsea or Arsenal pub and watch the match there. It's almost as good as being there in person. Again, I'd advise against wearing the opposite team's colors. Some of my favorite times in London were spent watching Chelsea and the English national team in pubs.

It's fairly easy to get tickets through unauthorized secondary websites but due to laws and regulations in the UK, that comes with some risk (though incredibly low) of the ticket being voided. I did it once when I lived in the UK actually to go to Stamford Bridge and it was fine. The sellers just recommended I avoid one entrance into the grounds.

I think only the club websites are authorized to legally resell tickets in the UK.

I picked Arsenal years ago when they had maroon home kits (in the '03-'04 season, I think). I saw Chelsea does have two visiting sections. I debated on not wearing Arsenal gear, but I've walked out of Yankee and Dodger stadiums wearing Red Sox gear. Can't be much worse, right?

I looked at registering on Cheslea's page, but can't get anything to load. Looks like the put tickets up 6 weeks in advance. Arsenal is 2 months, but I would guess a basic membership doesn't get you tickets for big games.

Maybe I stick to going to the Crystal Palace match. Probably more likely to get my wife to agree to buy tickets to "Nelson Road".

I had friends thrown out of the West Ham Stadium back in May because of this

Yep -- understood that. Crazy that it is that way.

One thing to keep in mind is how often the dates for fixtures get moved due to TV (which won't be announced until January 18 or thereabouts for your dates) and teams advancing in the FA Cup (although it looks like this should not be a problem for your dates). I don't know if I would try to pull the trigger too far in advance.

Stadium tour at Craven Cottage highly recommended. 10 min drive to the Bridge.

Selhurst Park is an absolute dump. Craven Cottage (Fulham) is great, and Brentford's stadium is small but brand new.

One thought: I've watched a number of YouTube Videos on what they call "hopsitality" tickets in the UK (we'd call premium or luxury). One of these packages, while pricey, might be something that would get you a sure way in.
