Anyone done this and do you have suggestions for things to do?

Are you referring to the Norwegian one? I've had a few clients do this particular cruise but it's been a few years.

Overall they had a good time but this Norwegian ship doesn't get as good of reviews as some of the other ships. The good thing about it is it has more port stops than ones that leave out of California.

My parents are looking at one for them and us in a year or two.. Not looking at cruising out there, but flying and then cruise the islands for 5-7 days, then fly back. following for info

gotcha. Yeh we have no interest in being on a ship at sea for 3or 4 days or however long that is, twice.
Does this do like overnight stops at a few islands? Seems like not much cruising time so more time on land.

We just did the Pride of America Cruise of Hawaiin islands July 18-25 and had an awesome time. We took our five year old and she loved it also. First cruise for wife and daughter. Poipu Beach in Kauai is awesome. Road to Hana great Maui. Volcano NAtional PArk Hilo and beautiful snorkeling on Kona side.
