It's the original home to the Art Basel festival so as you can guess the museums are a big draw. Fondation Beyeler & Kunstmuseum Basel are my top recs.

For food: Cheval Blanc (Michelin star & need reservations far in advance), Brasserie les Trois Rois, or Schlusselzunft.
