Wrangell St Elias for some glacier caving.
Day trip to Talkeetna.
Seward and Kenai.
Katmai and Brooks Lodge for 3 nights.

Since there's not a June thread - we just got back from two weeks in Europe. Our youngest was finally old enough to take an anniversary trip just the two of us. Was supposed to be our 10 year, but ended up being our 15 year celebration. Several days in Rome at a VRBO, then a cruise through Santorini, Ephesus, Mykonos, and Naples

Because we have a lot of young kids, we've been really bad at traveling, but had such a good time. Kind of gave us the appetite and confidence to start planning more trips. Highlights were definitely Pompeii, hiking at Santorini, and St. Peter's Basilica. Food was awesome, too!

Kiddo has a softball tourney in Gulf Shores later this month, so thats what we have going on. I did just upgrade us from a regular hotel (cause a week in regular hotel would not be ideal) to a 2 bed/2 bath condo that's super close to the beach. So that will be a nice mini-vacay.

Need to figure out something maybe in August for another mini family vacation before school starts. Last year we did Cabo.

Nassau the end of July. Couple days at Atlantis, then a vrbo on the NW side of the island. It was cheaper to just stay at the Atlantis than stay elsewhere and pay for day passes for the water park. And yes, we looked into the comfort suites thing and it didn't work out for us. They are also playing games with check in/out times and wristbands, trying to semi close that hack.

June was a big one for us with 2 weeks in Iceland.

Some work travel this month as well as a quick trip to Ely, NV and Great Basin NP. Looking forward to this one.

Montgomery, AL for 2 weeks.

Highlight was having an Auburn fan come up to me in a restaurant when I was wearing a Texas A&M shirt, to let me know how great Texas A&M and its fans were when she went to the game in College Station in 2021.

The funniest part was her saying how terrible she thought t.u. fans were and that they'd be right at home with Alabama.

27-36 holes Sunday-Thursday at Raven @ 3 Peaks in Silverthorne, CO.

Might toss the clubs in the plane and play elsewhere, or fly down to CLL and play some at Walden on Lake Conroe while visiting Mom.

Could very well be my August as well.

Managed to manipulate my vacation for a minimum of 10, and still might get it to 12 this summer.

I refer to this as "practicing for retirement"
