Anyone ever been to Lake Tahoe in late December? We will be landing in Reno and either driving in a rental or shuttle....which would be better? We will be staying in South Lake Tahoe and will be spending a day or two skiing and/or snowmobiling.....any suggestions or advice for that time of year would be appreciated. Thanks.

If driving, check the weather closely. Tahoe area can get some brutal winter storms. Make sure you have 4-wheel/all wheel drive.
