Can anyone offer recommendations for an economical resort that has access and views of crystal blue water? Looking to head there late April/early May.
Thanks in advance.

Who are you traveling with and are fine with villas or do you want a true resort?

We stay at Villa Renaissance (just to the west of the Ritz); on the water wth numerous shops, restaurants and a grocery store next door, great setup.

We went summer 2021 when they reopened and many other islands remained closed… at least back then, there wasn't much of anything I would all economical on Grace Bay but we ended up pulling the trigger on the Windsong Resort of the Reef and enjoyed ourselves quite a bit. There was a protected nice large reef right off the incredible beach.

Alexandra is AI now- stayed there before it was AI. You don't go to this island for an all inclusive experience; too many good restaurants.

If we ever go again I will possibly rent a house right there. We had a conch excursion and the guys took us right of the beach here by these houses to snorkle. It was the best 15 minutes of snorkeling. Wish I had a better camera.

Hope this pin drop works.

There are few true all-inclusive resorts there and none are economical, except 1.

Beaches Turks and Caicos
Alexandria Resort
Blue Haven (sister company to Alexandria with exchange priveleges)
Club Med - adults only. Has great reviews, but alcohol will be entry level and they are more known for sports and activities, not being all-inclusive. Maybe 2 dining options. No beach or pool service, you go get your own.

I'm for sure staying at Beaches in September, but also plan to stay at A/BH one night and one night at Club Med.

Happy to help, my email is in my profile.

Are you locked in on staying at a resort or open to a condo (VRBO) on the beach? You can get some great condos right on the beach.

Years ago, we stayed at The Sands at Grace Bay. I was apprehensive going in because it's an older property, but it was really nice and a great location. Like I mentioned though, that was a good while back so it could have changed. Last year we stayed in a villa on Chalk Sound. The villa was absolutely stunning but being on Chalk Sound meant a lot of driving. Next time, I'll do a resort on Grace Bay.

One thing to keep in mind is that the room taxes in T&C are pretty high so make sure you factor that in. Another thing, make sure you don't take your hunting backpack and if you do, make certain there is no forgotten ammo in it.

Just FYI, "economical" and T&C don't generally go in the same sentence together very often. It is quite literally one of the most expensive places in the Caribbean when it comes to food, taxis, etc. There are places that are cheaper than others, but be aware the non-resort costs can pile up very quickly there.

That is where my wife and I spent our honeymoon. Amazing oceanfront units.

Amen. Our honeymoon was 14 years ago. The cheapest meal we had on Provo was $45 for two hamburgers with fries.

Here is one example......we have stayed here a few times. You can find many condos right on the beach through VRBO.
