The La Salle has always been a good stay for me

There is a Sheraton, which is now owned by Marriott, in a great location just on the north side of the river. That is where the TMF trip stayed in 2000 when we played ND. Had at that time a Shula's Steakhouse in the hotel which was very good. About a block off Rush Street where lots of restaurants and bars are located.

The Gwen is great. Also have enjoyed Hotel EMC2 which is a bit more under the radar.

Of course there's always the Ritz or St. Regis, but that's a while other price level.
