Has anyone been there and would you recommend it? My wife and I are looking for a beach vacation from December 13-18 and are considering here.

We are looking for:
High quality food
Diverse food options
Excellent drinks
Good room service options when we want to lazy
Great beach
All inclusive
Social/active pool also a relaxing/quiet pool

Resorts we have stayed in the recent past that we liked a lot:
Sandals Emerald Bay, have no complaints at all
Unico 20.87 - everything was amazing except the beach which we knew before arriving.

It is brand new, but I'm hearing great reviews! I have a big group going next month to try it out and I'm excited to see what they say.

It was supposedly modeled after Secrets Maroma Beach which is one of my favorite resorts of all time.

You can't beat the beach at Emerald Bay but I think this beach is going to be great. It's north of Playa Mujeres which is supposed to be great and less sargassum.
