18 days in France. I am jealous.

On a train heading back to Rome finishing up our tour of Italy: Venice, Rome, Monterosso, Bellagio, Vernazza, Varenna, Positano, Capri. I'm goring to post a summary when I get home. Amazing trip.

June:

Our kids schedule is insane, so we only really have 1 week (or less) to do something as a family. Flying to Belize for 4 days. Can't complain.

End of July-August

Anchorage, Wrangell-St.Elias NP, Valdez

Then the real deal at Brooks Lodge for 3 nights.

July in Angel Fire. Glacier the first week in September.

France in a couple of days.

Manchester UK, York, Peak District, Lake District, Snowdonia with the fam over a couple of weeks.

Seattle, Vancouver and Vancouver Island in 3 weeks....Get out of this TX heat!

San Antonio in July. To get out of the heat.

Bratislava in July to see ACDC

Bogota for work this week
Omaha for CWS opening weekend whether the Ags are there or not
Punta Cana for anniversary trip after CWS

Costa Rica with wife and kids mid-July

Our van is done in 3 weeks and we're going ham on road trip(s) before my daughter starts K.

Later this month-July: Portland > Joseph/Wallowa > Boise/Bitterroots > Glacier NP > Banff > Garibaldi/Squamish > Vancouver/Victoria > Olympic > Portland. Home for a few weeks, then:

August: Portland > OR Coast (Depoe, Newport, Florence, Bandon, Brookings) > Crater > Shasta/Siskiyous > Redwoods > Big Sur/Carmel > Disneyland > San Diego > Mammoth > Yosemite > Tahoe > Steens/Alvord > John Day > Pendleton > Portland!

I just had a pretty big surgery 6 weeks ago so the doctor won't let me do a lot of fun things. So for me it will be mostly fishing and hiking as I am not allowed to ride or kayak for 6 months (hopefully less).

So here is what we have planned...

6/4 to 6/8 Wife taking the adventure van to Durango to meet up with friends
6/14 to 6/16 I am taking 3 12 year olds camping at Tarryall creek in the van/tent
6/22 to 6/29 headed to Corona del Mar and Disney California.
7/3 to 7/9 family in town, taking them to Estes Park
7/13 Doing a 4wd tour with friends up by woodland park, will camp and fish near deckers
7/20 weekend in Buena Vista with my wife hanging at the hot springs, camping up by chalk creek
8/7 to 8/11 headed to San Fran for a concert and to hang out with some friends
9/22 Headed to West Virginia for Gauley Fest and to hang with the rednecks


Aside from that it will be a whole lot of flyfishing and hiking until the doc allows me to ride again. Hitting Tarryall hard this summer and probably make the trek to South Slope a bunch. Hard to beat fishing at 12k elevation. I want to catch the Lenawee trail and do Pikes Peak again but not sure I will be allowed. Also want to take my son on some class 3 kayaking this summer, but again, not sure if I can.

Ready for this post-trip report. My son wants to go to Amsterdam and I want to go to Italy.

Colorado (Colorado/Manitou Springs, Georgetown, and Estes Park, driving trip, leaving June 15).

Ireland, Scotland, and England with the family....then a month in Thailand solo.

Hawaii in July
Colorado in August

If you have an open evening, check out the cocktail making class at the Prohibition Museum. It's a fun 2 hours. Also, read Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil before you go and take a walk through the Bonaventure Cemetery. There is also a hop on hop off bus tour that gives you a good overview of the city.

Just got back from Punta de Mita, will be down in Port A in a couple of weeks and that may be it this summer.

Was supposed to go to Palawan but had to cancel it due to a major outage at work I need to be here for. Booked 1.5 weeks in Semporna/ to dive. Found some super low flights to KL, so the rest of the trip is gravy.

Looking to go to the Snowy Mts in June and Tetons in July.

Son and I are going to the CWS June 18-19
Wife and daughter are going to Germany to watch T Swift the last week of July
Family vacay to 30A over July 4

Heading to Thailand at the end of the month. Wife and daughter went 2 weeks ago, but I had to stay back to help my mom deal with recovery from surgery and start of Chemo. Might drive down to Siem Reap, Cambodia for a couple of days. Will spend a day in Tokyo on the way back. Will go to TX for a few days after we get back.
