Staying at Garza Blanca for a long weekend at the end of June. I've seen recommendations for El Farallon at the Waldorf. Wondering if it's still the place and curious on other recommendations.

Not sure I can convince my wife but would like to get out for a half day fishing trip with her.

Flora Farms is very good, El Faralon is my favorite

For an anniversary, very nice and wonderful setting

Love both, but for an anniversary, El Faralon gets my vote

Cocina Del Mar at Esperanza. Fantastic and a bit closer to where you are staying than Farrallon.

Look at Sunset Monalisa too. Never been but it's on my list and was highly recommended to me.

And order a desert prepared at your table.

Hoping you see this bump or someone else who's been there does, how was Garza Blanca?

JC- that year we did Garaa Blanca. Dined at El Farallon and had a great time. El Farallon is expensive but would do it again - the Waldorf property is amazing as is the restaurant location.

We have been back to Cabo every year since then. We've done Garza Blanca twice, but I don't think we'll do it again. I think it leaves a little bit to be desired. The rooms are nice. Breakfast is great. Dinner is okay. And maybe it's just me, but I got a little nervous after reading a Tripadvisor review and didn't necessarily want to bring my family there.

We're heading to Cabo next Saturday and this will be our second time there this year. We're doing Villa la Estancia which is a lot closer to San Lucas. We're opting out of the all-inclusive to try restaurants like Edith's. And we may do Monalisa Sunset.
