Saw this ad for black Friday week.

Has anyone stayed here before and/ or used booksi? We typically do the fairmont in Mayakoba but this looks like a great little way to get a family getaway.

I've never purchased a deal like this before. Is that legit or a scam?

No I've never even quoted it. I can assure you it is not 5 stars. Sites like this always make me leery and you usually have to attend a very pushy timeshare presentation.

It does require a timeshare presentation. Plus that place looks like it hasn't been updated since the 80s/90s.

Never heard of booksi so I googled "booksi scam" and this review site came up https://fortyreviews.com/booksi-reviews/

The custom reviews at the bottom. Yikes.

Yeah, they're pretty hit or miss. I don't mind the pitch so long as it's a stay 4+ days. Checking out oyster.com for resort reviews and knowing what you're signing up for goes a long way.

Last summer we did Hilton beach & golf resort in cabo for $400/7 nights, didn't require a timeshare presentation, but they offered us $200 if we did one so we did it anyway.
So $200 for 7 nights here;

In Jan we are going to Westin Lagunamar Cancun, $300 for 4 nights, timeshare presentation required.

These deals are absolutely out there, and as long as you know how to be firm and say no, you get a great rate for 90 minutes of your time.

But I didn't get mine through some sketchy looking site like this booksi.. I booked them directly through the timeshare company, interval international.

Never sat through one of these how many " closers" do they bring in ? I would think after a while I might start laughing.

I've never dealt with anybody else but the one person. Sometimes they'll leave and come back with a better deal, but that's only if you're giving excuses how it's not in your budget or whathave you.

Over the years we've found it's much more effective to just say you aren't interested, that it has nothing to do with cost.

At the cabo one, the sales guy was saying how for $20k or whatever, you get this place for a week for life, and that a week stay there is $3500 or whatever, so a quick 5-6 year break even.

Then I told him that sounds like a great deal, however I only paid $400 for the week, and I'm getting $200 for sitting here with you, so that's a 100 year break even period using my numbers.

He closed the windows on his computer and just started chatting with us about how we like Denver and he lived there at some point.
We were out of there in 10-15 minutes later lol. Not a single word about the timeshare after that moment.

Puerto Morelos: The Luxury Edit (cosmotrips.com)

Just saw this ad listed and I am considering it for the wife and I. Can anyone give feedback on The Fives? If we went in the summer, $1600 for 3 nights seems like a pretty good deal.

I don't think it's a good deal. I can search more tomorrow, but I can get one of the Fives Resorts for $796 for 3 nights for 2 adults. (Plus transfers).

The one on your link is very small (they have 3 different properties total). This one wasn't pulling up for me but I can look at other suppliers.

I can find better resorts for the same or less price point (without flights).
