My parents' 11-day Danube cruise & attached 6-day bus tour of eastern Europe (all-inclusive) scheduled for April get cancelled this week with a 150% reimbursement. With all the discounts, they've been able to parlay that into two different trips in late summer and the fall.
1) A 28-day cruise up the eastern coast of North America from Miami to northern Canada to Iceland to the British Isles to mainland UK/Scotland/Ireland to Normandy France with guided tours all along the way.
2) A cruise from Florida, through the Caribbean, down the eastern coast of South America to the southern tip of S. America & Padagonia. From there, they will take a trip to Antarctica and back. Their cruise will continue up the western cost of S. America, Central America & Mexico and up the west coast to Los Angeles with over a dozen stops along the way. I'm not sure how long this one will last, but I'd assume about a month.
My parents recently retired and obviously love taking cruises. I know old people are terrified of this disease, but they are looking at as a windfall.
