Are they all the same thing basically? For some reason the price seems to vary by a large margin between the three. Is one better than the others, or does one perhaps have a few less children clogging it up ?

Ive been to all 3. I'd take the Hyatt Hill Country over the others.

Wild Oak Ranch is a timeshare property. The units are larger than a standard hotel room. 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms have a separate living room and full size kitchen. The resort is smaller and is less crowded than the other 2. I believe if you are staying at WOR you can also use the facilities across the street at the Hyatt Hill Country resort.

Hyatt Hill Country and Lost Pines are larger and offer more amenities. Both have more dining options than WOR. Rooms are traditional hotel size rooms with no separate living room or kitchen. Between HHC and LP I like LP better. Not sure what the price differences between the 3 are.

We have not stayed at Lost Pines, but we've been to the other two. We didn't care at all about the restaurants on site, but WOR seemed to us to be quite a bit nicer in terms of the whole property, and it was less crowded. Rooms are much bigger unless you get the standard room. If you stay at WOR, you can go to the HC, but not the other way around.
